SEAP is able to provide small amounts of co-sponsorship funding, advertising on its web calendar and list-serve (via a weekly e-newsletter), and colored printing services to student organizations on Campus in support of events featuring the cultures of Southeast Asia. This funding is dependent upon the submission of the on-line funding application and the subsequent submission of an event report. The Program is not able to provide any philanthropic funding.
To qualify for co-sponsorship funding, the applicant organization must:
- Be registered and approved with the Dean of Students. For more information regarding this please reference http://sao.cornell.edu/.
- Complete and submit the on-line SEAP Application for Co-sponsorship.
- Indicate in the application if they will be requesting printing services. If not, provide the Southeast Asia Program with publicity items (flyer, poster, etc.) listing the Southeast Asia Program as a co-sponsor in the following manner: This event is partially funded by the U. S. Department of Education as part of SEAP’s designation as a National Resource Center.
The Program is also able to provide to Southeast Asia student activity organizations colored printing services for up to 250 pieces the following categories: posters (8.5 x 11” or 11 x 17”), and quarter cards. Printing requests must be submitted in final form at least ten business days in advance of desired delivery date. Please submit items to be printed in PDF format to SEAP@cornell.edu or hand deliver a flash drive to 180 Uris Hall. Posters and quarter cards will be printed on 20lb paper. Key contact submitting materials will be notified by e-mail when the job is ready to be picked up in 180 Uris Hall.
Upon submission of a successful application the applicant will be provided with an e-mail outlining the funding pledged in support of the activity or event. This funding will be made available only after the successful completion of the activity or event.
To receive funds the applicant must:
- Complete and submit in full the Event Report.
Funding will be dispersed within 5-10 business days of receipt of a fully completed report.
