Three Cultural and Language Programs in Indonesia

USINDO

Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) is an intensive overseas language and cultural immersion program for American students enrolled at U.S. colleges and universities. Students spend eight to ten weeks abroad studying one of 15 critical languages, a list which includes Indonesian.Deadline to Apply: November 10th, 2019 at 8:00 PM EST.

USINDO Summer Studies program is a specially-designed language and cultural immersion that is distinct from most. It entails an intensive ten-week language and cultural studies fellowship held from May to August in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.Deadline to Apply: January 24, 2020

Darmasiswa is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia to study the Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia), art and culture in one of over fifty affiliated universities in Indonesia.
